Coming from the vibrant city of Berlin, SKALA is a visionary music producer, vocalist, and DJ whose core mission is to catalyze emotional openness, which she likes to call "eSKALAtion." Starting her musical journey as a child, she blends classical piano skills with modern electronic music. SKALA's music is a masterful fusion of organic percussions, glitchy elements, and synthesized leads, creating a soundscape marked by heavy bass lines and airy melodies. Her tracks made it several times to the Beatport Top 50 Charts in Melodic Techno and Electronica. In 2023, SKALA expanded her influence in the music industry by co- founding the label Amaeo with her partner Theologos. This new venture aims to introduce innovative music and support emerging artists in the industry. SKALA's global reach as a performer is impressive. She has played at major venues and events around the world, including Off Sonar in Barcelona, Klein Phonix in Istanbul, Electric Brixton in London and did multiple tours across India, Central America, Europe, and various countries in the Middle East. ọba+flip is a DJ duo based in Brooklyn, New York. They met at an underground techno party in 2017—a connection that blossomed into a partnership in love and music. They’ve been playing together since 2020, turning what began as a shared hobby into a powerful way to express their deep affection for music and commitment to each other. “ọba” means “king” in Yoruba, the first language of ọba’s mother, while “flip” nods to the flip phone she still carried when they met—as well as their shared desire to “flip things up.” Together, they merge their unique lived experiences to provide uplifting, hard-driving sounds with space and groove. Their craft is a testament to their adaptability, effortlessly matching and elevating the energy of the room with a range of house, techno, and everything in between. “Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would attend his first underground party and find the sound that would capture him and inspire him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene, a party enthusiast, and an avid techno tourist. After some time as a free agent, Christian’s sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he has entranced audiences with thoughtful, layered DJ sets. In 2021 he became a resident of Beachouse in Ibiza, where he provides the soundtrack for sunny days on Playa D’en Bossa. He has also recently joined the All Day I Dream roster, having contributed multiple videos to the All Day I Stream series, as well as being booked to play All Day I Dream events at Space Nightclub in Miami, Cova Santa in Ibiza, and the All Day I Dream festival in California. His music blends a focus on the low end frequencies with a melodic, sometimes melancholic touch. The end result is just as suited to a nightclub dancefloor as a desert sunset, with enough versatility for everything in between. Life came full circle with the brand that helped launch him; Christian currently manages the Bespoke Musik record label and runs the brand with founder and friend, Rocky Raminceanu. The second Bespoke label release was a collaborative side project with German All Day I Dream artist, Powel. The two met in Brooklyn whilst sharing the lineup for Christian’s first Bespoke residency, marking the start of their musical partnership and Christan’s foray into musical production. Some of his notable bookings include Gazgolder and Leveldva in Moscow, Fabric in London, Piknic Electronik in Montreal, Flash in Washington DC, Café D’ Anvers in Antwerp, Sisyphos in Berlin, Output and Cityfox in Brooklyn, Do Not Sit on the Furniture, Space and The Electric Pickle in Miami, Beachouse and Cova Santa in Ibiza, and Robot Heart, the 747, Miki Beach and Pink Mammoth at Burning Man.Recently at The Meadows, Public Roof, The Turk's Inn · often with Iman Rizky, Dim Kelly, Oliver Eyes, none of them here that night
