Known as a techno producer who has her own unique and innovative sounds, Julia has most recently been featured on Bandcamp Daily as the best electronic music producer and in a glowing review in The New Yorker that called her talent "beguiling" and "rare" and that her music "fills the mind." She is the founder and curator of the music record label JUJUKA, partner at Bar Laika by e-flux and Public Records resident. "She established a style that feels half Rome school, half Japanese hypnotic techno, but fully Julia Govor." Julia is enthusiastic and energetic with a charismatic fatal charm. Govor knows how to move, make others feel and engage. . She also is a consummate cat wrangler, experienced squirrel whisperer and can rock the hell out of a vintage ski suit.Techno on 35, Tech House on 10, Experimental on 5 and Deep House on 7. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Jujuka (1) and Semantica Records (1); their RA profile also lists Rhythm Cult, Pushmaster Discs, Anagram, Trip and 4 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at public records, BASEMENT, Honey's · often with Kamran Sadeghi, YASMEENAH, night, none of them here that night

Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Most recently, he released the experimental project "Where The Ashes Glow" on NNA Tapes.Techno on 2, Afrobeat on 1, Art Rock on 1 and Ethereal on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on White Owl Records (3) (2) and Gonzo Circus (1); their RA profile also lists NNA Tapes and White Owl Records. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at BASEMENT, Paragon, Signal · often with Juana, Ne/Re/A, VILE, none of them here that night

Sam discovered her love for electronic music at a young age while surfing YouTube, which has sent her into a lifelong digging rabbit hole. Her sound reflects a deeply informed ear and reverence for dancing, pulling from her coming of age experience on the floors at raves and clubs. Her work as a DJ and producer leans into mutant sonic collisions, channeling the spirit of midwestern electronics through acid-infused, tracky body music.Trance on 3, Techno on 2, Hardcore on 2 and Ambient on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on RAVE4EVAR (1), Yearning (1) and low income $quad (1); their RA profile also lists Evar Records and Gyration Station. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Green Room NYC, public records, Paragon · often with Mike Servito, Miss Parker, MORENXXX, none of them here that night
“Ryan started his ongoing love affair with dancing and dance clubs at a young age.”

Ryan started his ongoing love affair with dancing and dance clubs at a young age. But it wasn’t until moving to New York in 2006 that he took his love of the music in the direction of DJing and promoting. Noting that many of the city’s gay dance clubs were playing surprisingly homogenous music, Ryan was inspired to push that envelope. Combining forces with DJ Ron Like Hell, Ryan started DJing at “Rocket,” a party night they collaborated on at Hose in the East Village that became popular for its distinctive mix of classic and forward-thinking house and disco. Later he co-conceived and DJ’d the Soffitta70 parties at the Public Assembly Loft in Williamsburg, combining house and techno music with psychedelic art, and drawing a vibrant and eclectic young dance crowd. The sound Ryan and Ron created for these parties caught the attention of Catz ‘n Dogz, and Electronic Music Bears, and Honey Soundsystem leading to the duo's tailoring exclusive podcasts for all of them. Ryan’s penchant for soulful rhythms with a decidedly forward edge soon brought him DJ gigs in San Francisco (with Honey Soundsystem), DC at U Street Music Hall, in London (Dalston Superstore with the legendary Optimo and Vogue Fabrics with Severino, and Club Butt w/ Butt Magazine and Boris of Berghain), and in Berlin (Cocktail D’amore) as well as one of New York’s most popular dance clubs and parties, from the main floor of the legendary Saint At Large Black Party to Santos Party House and nights such as the legendary Bunker, the cutting-edge techno night in Brooklyn. As a DJ, Ryan continues pushing the dance music envelope with sweat-inducing rhythms at his latest ventures, “Wrecked,” at National Underground in New York. He’s also expanding his creative parameters as one of the founding partners of Discaire, a queer-run record label based out of NYC, San Francisco and London and booking some of the worlds most sought after underground DJ’s. And of course he keeps pushing the hip-moving musical parameters of New York’s dance clubs!Their RA profile lists Central Dogma Records.Last at BASEMENT in Sep · often with Day Thief, Sterling Juan Diaz, Boris, none of them here that night
