LUSH

LUSH is a celebration of the world of Diva House. The sound of powerful female voices meeting four on the floor rhythms, euphoric piano stabs, gospel influenced melodies, and the freedom of the dance floor.

From its disco and post disco roots through the underground house movement of the 80s and 90s, to the pop dance crossover that followed, LUSH explores the voices, producers, DJs, and records that turned house music into a space for our inner divas to feel, sing, sweat, and transcend.

Expect the commanding vocals of artists like Martha Wash, Jocelyn Brown, Robin S, Adeva, and Kim English, alongside the dance floor alchemy of producers and remixers like Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Junior Vasquez, Hex Hector, and Eric Kupper. Plus the pop divas who entered the world: Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue, and so many more whose voices and songs were transformed by legendary club mixes into something bigger, deeper, and often more liberated than their original versions.

Come for the divas. Lose yourself in house.
