Guided by her devotion to sound system culture and bass forward arrangements, Mui Mui weaves tracks across the dub continuum with dynamic selections that forefront percussion, groove, and bass. Drawing from her extensive experience playing both pummeling late-night club sets and more cerebral radio hours, Mui Mui’s precise mixing and fearless approach to genre serves to make dance floors feel at once mischievous and cohesive, sacred and sultry. Her training as a classical ballet dancer fuels her love of full body sounds- embracing, welcoming, and guiding the body and mind through her inner narratives. A cornerstone of the NYC underground, she has also held residencies at Noods Radio and Hong Kong Community Radio, and has played to dance floors internationally, including in Tokyo, Montreal, Berlin, and in cities across the US and UK. N1NA is a fast-rising DJ, known for her passion for techno and her high energy on the dance floor. Based in Miami, she began her journey as a DJ playing at after parties, where she quickly gained attention for her skillful and meticulous track selection and pristine mixing skills. A penchant for being a fast learner combined with an intense dedication to the learn the craft, N1NA soon became known as a technician behind the decks. In 2022 and into 2023, N1NA’s made a name for herself in Miami's underground techno scene, earning the support of @domicile.miami , and securing a residency at @artifakt._ , and now E-HRZN Records. The name "serpentskirt" , a track from the Cocteau Twin's "Milk &Kisses" references Alex's musical affinities that spans shoegaze, punk, experimental dub techno, minimal techno, trance, acid, and EBM. She believes there is an intrinsic connection between these kinds of music and seeks to share those ideals with the dancefloor. She runs the electro and deep techno based party "Kismet" in Bushwick, Brooklyn and can often be found spinning all over the neighborhood.
