    the whole biography
Few enjoy such a cherished, credible and powerfully engaging position as DEBONAIR. The DJ and radio host is regarded as one of the hardest digging selectors in the underground with a formidable knowledge of post punk, new wave, body music, proto techno, the avant-garde and off-kilter house and she delivers these exquisitely during her incendiary DJ sets, which take place everywhere from subterranean sex clubs to post modern art spaces. Whether it’s Unsound Festival or Circo Loco, Seoul's Cakeshop or New York's Nowadays, Panorama Bar or Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, DEBONAIR’s selections always captivate the dance.   DEBONAIR also has one of the most treasured shows on everyone’s favourite online radio station, NTS. You’re always in for an unpredictable ride as she connects the dots between seemingly disparate genres and atmospheres with deep understanding and charisma. Having been part of the platform since its inception in 2011, DEBONAIR played a major role in building the station in the early years through her role as Programme Director and has also hosted interviews with legendary cultural figures such as Mark Leckey, Lil Louis, Victoria Sin and Holly Herndon.  Critically acclaimed mixes, on point press features and exhilarating live streams for Blowing Up The Workshop, The Guardian, FACT, Boiler Room, Mixmag, Resident Advisor, and Groove Mag spotlight her far reaching record collection and inimitable style. Let DEBONAIR’s unique vision guide you through the static.

“LUNÁTICA is a tribute project to the expression of the primal self, the sensual and defiant mind.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
LUNÁTICA is a tribute project to the expression of the primal self, the sensual and defiant mind. Created by Luna Cattleya Calderon Asero, a Colombian-Chinese-American artist based in Providence, RI, LUNÁTICA embodies a unique sound and energy. Formerly known as Lunamariposa, she brings DJ sets and music productions that embrace the soul-stirring power of percussion, hydrating drum patterns, and rhythms that will make you find the groove in your heart. This artist has performed in Bogotá, Colombia; Antigua, Guatemala; New York City; the DMV area; Philadelphia; and Miami. Her primary terrain includes East Coast venues such as The MFA & ICA in Boston, Red Door, Mezzo, and Dancing Cats in Providence, as well as Elsewhere, Jupiter Disco, and Nowadays in NYC—her ambitions are set on expanding further. Even before discovering her passion for DJing and music production, Cattleya Asero was a dedicated supporter and an essential presence on the underground dancefloors of Boston, having moved there from Miami in 2015. By 2019, she had established herself as a regular DJ, bringing a sound that is irresistibly danceable, politically provocative, and unafraid to take risks, infusing her art with a strong and distinctive voice. A former contributor to Boston’s queer and DIY community, Cattleya was affiliated with Houseboi, Demo Radio, and Sakias— a collective of students that emerged from Harvard University. In addition to DJing, she played an active role behind the scenes. Now, after shortly living in nyc , she works alongside rising star and Brown University professor Madison Moor through Providence’s newest queer party, MISS KITTY, which centers People of Color. Asero also contributes to the music scene in PVD through her relationship with Symposium Records, founded by Scott MX and Jacob Hershel. Her reach extends even further through her involvement with the global collective GHETTO WITCHEZ, where she has tapped into music journalism, and writing music reviews

    their own biography

    the whole biography
ROCCO (they/he/IT) is an interdisciplinary artist (DJ, producer, archivist, painter, and organizer) based in New York City. Their developing sound weaves elements from old school industrial, experimental, punk, and glitch with a clear nod to the quintessential jacking American style originating in Chicago. They founded FIGA, a queer collective focused on honoring the American roots of techno and platforming modern pioneers of dance music to facilitate community and expand the reach of the underground artists who have inspired them.
