After dabbling in music journalism and college radio, Brooklyn-based EEVEE opened a new chapter in her love for music and started DJing in spring 2023. They like to mix their Southern and Caribbean roots with a variety of Black genres: think New Orleans bounce, alternative R&B, Southern Crunk, Jersey Club, ghettotech, bouyon, Miami Bass, and disco. Her mission is to keep you moving on the dance floor. Expect to hear Solange, DnB from a SEGA soundtrack, and Flo Milli on the same night—if you really want to feel the EEVEElution, shake some ass on the dancefloor.Recently at Happyfun Hideaway, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring · often with Petal, BBYGRL, CMD+JAZMINE, none of them here that night
