Santelises began DJing in Miami in 2019, after years spent immersed in the city’s electronic music scene. What started on the dance floor eventually found its way behind the decks, driven by a fascination with rhythm, percussion and the way a room can change through music. His sound moves through the deeper and more rhythmic sides of house music, drawing from progressive, deep, afro and tech house without being defined by any one of them. His sets are built around groove and progression, taking time to develop while knowing when to shift the energy. Over the years, Santelises has shared lineups and provided support for artists including Tim Green, Simon Vuarambon Joezi and Brian cid among others while becoming an increasingly familiar presence in Miami’s underground electronic music scene. He is also the founder and music director of Intriga Collective, a Miami-based platform created to give DJs a space to explore the deeper sides of house music and connect through the dance floor. With roots in the Dominican Republic and Miami as his home base, Santelises continues to develop his sound through every room he plays. The idea behind it remains simple: stay present, read the room, and let the music lead.
