Good to know
- “Residents MESA and Dennis Free are joined by Bambounou, Mai Iachetti, RHR, Rose Kourts, and 1Morning for a wicked two-room takeover at Green Room.”
Level III and friends gather for a supernatural ten-hour marathon to kick off Halloween weekend. Residents MESA and Dennis Free are joined by Bambounou, Mai Iachetti, RHR, Rose Kourts, and 1Morning for a wicked two-room takeover at Green Room.
Bambounou explores stripped-back, percussive and tactile club music, with production depth that exceeds the common ear. This year alone has seen him release That Thing through Yoyaku, the Parsons EP on AUS Music, and a rework of Peven Everett’s “I Can’t Believe I Loved Her” for the legendary King Street Sounds label. His attention to detail in his productions cannot be overlooked, and the same can be said for his understanding of a dancefloor's energy.
Miami-based Mai iachetti could only be described as a hypontist. The Club Space resident utilizes elements of house, techno, electro, minimal, and breaks, to create a drawn out feeling of distortion for listeners on the dance floor.
RHR is always seeking to understand the stimuli of São Paulo, which is seen through his research across techno, bass, dancehall, electro, and baile funk. Recognized for the precision of transitions and the creativity behind the choices made, he illustrates like few others the discomfort with the obvious.
Originally from Charlotte and now based in Brooklyn, Rose Kourts has built a reputation for unpredictable, fearless sets that retain a deep sense of musicality and joy. Rose brings a philosophy of fun, a risk-taking verve and a distinct, magnetic presence to every booth she steps into.

Spending the past few years honing his sound and technique, Bambounou, a key figure in the Parisian scene, has gained his position from his genre bending and jubilant electronic music productions and laying down solid freight train DJ sets around the globe. Born Jeremy Guindo, Bambounou is the product of vast internal landscape where he roves freely in search of inspiration. Just as his alloyed French-Malian-Polish background has grown him a strong backbone of musical independence, so too has his love for astrophysics and dystopian sci-fi been distilled into futuristic interpretations UK techno, IDM and tribal sources. His effortless straddling of experimental eclecticism and 4x4 beat mastery helped Bambounou to early on catch the eye of Modeselektor, whose 50Weapons released two albums and five EPs of his axiom breaking dance incantations. Bambounou’s originality and craftsmanship has earned him some first rate remixes with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jessy Lanza and Sampha. Collaborations with Margaret Dygas and Simo Cell also demonstrated his ability to innovate both creatively and technically. Add to this his experience ratcheting up the dance floors of some of the world’s best locations like Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete, De School, Freerotation, MoMA PS1 and Nuits Sonores and it should come as no surprise that Bambounou’s upcoming releases are being served with a healthy dose of anticipation.Their RA profile lists 50 Weapons, Bright Sounds, Taapion Records, AD 93 and 3 more.Recently at public records, Nowadays · often with LOVEFOXY, LACATY, Eliza Rose, none of them here on Friday

Blending classic house with the raw energy of percussive dance, and ghetto tech, Dennis creates a sound that’s both soulful & rhythmic with driving basslines. His sets—ranging from 120 to 140 BPM—have an undeniable pulse that pulls dancers into a communal trance which has quickly allowed him to carve out a name as one of the most exciting young tastemakers in dance music. Dennis has graced iconic stages like London’s Fabric and Drumsheds, sharing bills with notable acts like A-Trak, Loco Dice, Peggy Gou, Carlita, HoneyLuv, Questlove, Moodymann & more. Alongside features in Rolling Stone, Office Mag and Resident Advisor, Dennis’ influence stretches beyond the booth. As a founding force behind Brooklyn’s Level III Collective, the grassroots movement that started as a humble apartment party has now evolved into a multifaceted collective known for its vibrant, inclusive community of clubbers & music fans alike. Born in Diadema, greater São Paulo, it was in Londrina where Roniere Santos actually began his DJ career in 2010. From his experience in the neighborhood came the influence of Brazilian rhythms and syncopated elements. RHR, now based in São Paulo, takes a careful look at his ideas in electronic music. Hence the invitation for a monthly residency on French radio Rinse FM with the program “Som Sistema”. Defined by himself: percussive soundscapes form the combination that is gaining more and more space in the music scene in Brazil and around the world. Always seeking to understand the stimuli of São Paulo, the artist continues to expose research in multiple genres such as techno, bass, dancehall, electro, baile funk. He has participated in line ups such as Mamba Negra, Tantsa, Dekmantel Festival SP, ODD, Gop Tun Festival and DGTL SP. One of the highlights of RHR's career was his debut at Boiler Room São Paulo in August 2022. With five solo EPs released and one in partnership with North American Danny Daze, Roniere is preparing for a new release where he intends to share his artistic talents even more. In addition to partnerships with labels such as Omnidisc, Pac Recs and Nice and Deadly, RHR is an integral part of the NY-based label TIJOLO Records. Recognized for the precision of transitions and the creativity behind the choices made, RHR illustrates like few others the discomfort with the obvious. The ability to reinvent yourself in the midst of a wave of creative burnout makes RHR a potentially liberating force. All this without losing the artist’s characteristics, references and ideas. We can say that RHR has achieved everything without giving up anything.Their RA profile lists Dekmantel, Omnidisc, Live From Earth and Nice & Deadly.Recently at Nowadays, MoMA PS1 · often with MONEYAMA, Skrillex, upsammy, none of them here on Friday
