Heavy Waste is back at Bossa!
Antenes headlines the evening. A Brooklyn resident by way of Chicago, Antenes' eclectic DJ sets dive into acid-laced techno, shimmering electro, shadowy atmospheres and beyond. The DJ, producer and electronics artist, operates a laboratory of self-made sequencers and modular synthesizers built in the name of rhythmic, sonic, and spatial exploration.
R-DNA and HNDRNC b2b to open the evening.
Ukraine-born and now Brooklyn-based, R-DNA is a techno DJ known for a driving take on hypnotic and minimal techno. With experimentation at heart, their sets focus on intricate percussion patterns and the contrast of bass-heavy sounds with crystalline synths, uncovering something primal.
Forged in the Midwest and hardened in Brooklyn, Heavy Waste co-founder HNDRNC delivers fast, unapologetically hard techno. Commanding rooms with driving low-end and relentless pacing, he builds primal intensity, pushing the dancefloor to its absolute breaking point until surrender is the only option.
Erik Braun brings us home till close. With a background in percussion, and ongoing explorations of modular synthesis, he’s drawn to a track selection that heavily features tight grooves, abstract textures, and hypnotic tones.

R-DNA's selections are guided by a deep belief in the meditative, healing power of electronic music — an ethos shaped by years immersed in the underground queer scenes of Berlin, Buenos Aires, and Taipei before moving to New York. Their sound follows long emotional arcs built through extended blends and subtle shifts, moving fluidly between minimal, percussive depth and hardgroove peak-time pressure — drawing on the tension and release that defines both dancefloor ritual and personal transformation. As host of tension/release on Newtown Radio, R-DNA extends that ethos into curation — platforming emerging queer and FLINTA* artists in NYC and beyond through a techno-rooted, genre-fluid format that prioritizes depth over trend.Recently at Boyfriend co-op, Reforesters Laboratory, Mood Ring · often with masha latte, 1ol1v1a, SEDENTARY, none of them here on Saturday

Hailing from the Midwest, HNDRNC began working the club and party scene over 10 years ago before moving to NYC. Since then, the Heavy Waste co-founder and resident for Good Room’s REDIRECT party series has been solidifying his place in the Brooklyn techno scene. His sound is a direct expression of how he moves through and processes the world: empowering, fleeting, fast, and hard. Driven by the desire to command a room and create lasting moments, HNDRNC builds intensity from singular elements, connecting to something primal and instinctive—existing right at the edge of chaos, where letting go becomes inevitable.Recently at Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club · often with skoglund, SANDBAG, S'aint Panic, none of them here on Saturday
