Short King returns to The Cockpit at Red Eye on Friday, October 9 for another edition of Short King: Underground, a darker, heavier, and cruisier night centered on our vertically efficient, travel-size gay and queer men and the guys who love to get on their level.
We are trading the main room glare for low clearance, dark corners, and a tactile play space atmosphere built for dancing, flirting, and getting a little closer. Gear is encouraged, clothes check will be available, and the room is yours to explore.
Finding a proper underground play space in Manhattan is a tall order. Short King is ready to take you deeper.

Detroit raised and NYC based, autogyro is known for long-form dancefloor journeys where hypnosis meets emotional release. Moving between dark rolling house and deep hypnotic techno, he builds tension through layered rhythms, rolling sub-bass, and flashes of familiar vocals before opening into moments of raw, collective lift. His sets unfold gradually, deepening the atmosphere, building the heat, and keeping bodies locked in motion as the room moves from playful groove into darker late-night territory.
