Night & Day brings together a crew of serious selectors for an extended session spanning house, techno and experimental club. Amsterdam’s Interstellar Funk has spent more than a decade moving through the city’s underground, with releases across Rush Hour, Dekmantel, L.I.E.S. and his own Artificial Dance imprint. Colored Craig arrives with his signature soulful, jacking approach that earned him an RA Podcast and a reputation as one of the city’s standout DJs. Marseille’s LAMALICE brings a minimal, rhythmic and technical groove shaped through Sentaku and his Smooth Operators project, while NY regulars Mayell & Sibil for a special B2B. SPRKLBB and Very J complete the lineup for a long-form Friday Night & Day.

Founder of Onysia and Convent Records and a well-seasoned devotee of dancefloor debauchery, J Gabriel has been translating raw party energy into musical creations for nearly two decades. His NYC based studio-lair is an expression of love for vintage sonics and dedication to old-school analog production techniques. While J Gabriel’s sound rests firmly upon a classic deep house foundation, his productions bare their own distinct sonic signature and stylistic diversity, exploring the realms of dub, minimal, downtempo and beyond. Aliases include Chuffing Buffy for heavier, twister, weirder ideas, and Mojo District for more foundational house sounds.Their RA profile lists Cynosure Recordings, Nervous Records, Fresh Meat Records, La Vie En Rose and 5 more.Recently at Apollo Studio, BKE Kombucha · often with Connie, Bruno Limma, David Berrie, none of them here on Friday

Hailing from the vibrant city of Marseille and rooted in the pure products of Madagascar, Lamalice's musical journey began amidst the harmonious notes of a family of musicians. Immersed in a traditional atmosphere, he discovered his passion during his formative years, navigating the worlds of Hip-Hop dance and drumming for a rock band. As the beats of adolescence reverberated, Lamalice seamlessly transitioned into the electronic realm, drawn by the allure of House dance—a close kin to the Hip-Hop movement that had initially captivated him. His trajectory unfolded over six years of residencies at renowned establishments like Spartacus Club and Baby Club, both esteemed references in the southern French music scene. These experiences allowed him to share stages with heavyweights of the international House and Techno scenes, sculpting his identity and honing his craft. Recent releases on labels such as Partisan, Positive Future, Sentaku, Shotgun, and Sticky Plastik have garnered acclaim from the press and received enthusiastic support from established figures in the underground music community. Lamalice's stylistic diversity and meticulous approach shine through, showcasing a musical journey that transcends boundaries. His affiliation with Sentaku Music, a record label, event organizer, and DJs crew founded by long-time friend Massai, signaled the birth of a new project: Smooth Operators. A DJ recognized for his finely curated and eclectic selections, Lamalice is also a devoted lover of jam machines. In the true spirit of his artistic universe—minimalistic, rhythmic, and hypnotic—he steps onto the dancefloor not only as a DJ but also as a live solo performer, creating an immersive experience for his audience. In French, someone with "malice" embodies astuteness and skill, possessing more than a single trick. Lamalice embraces this spirit in his project, continually enhancing his versatility and technique. Whether as a producer, DJ, or live performer, he artfully expresses his deeply rooted emotions, creating a seamless fusion of tradition and techno mastery. Lamalice embodies the essence of a true musical artisan, crafting a narrative that transcends genres and captivates audiences...Their RA profile lists BOOOoo! Spending the last 12 years mixing and digging for peculiar electronica, his talent and dedication soon brought him the residency in the capital’s last real underground sanctuaries – the beloved Zoo club and K4, where he soon took on the initiative and started doing bookings as well, inviting and playing alongside the likes of Francesco del Garda, Sonja Monear, Raresh, Onur Özer, Binh, Etienne, Nicolas Lutz, Daniel Bell and others... Drawing inspiration from virtually all facets of early electronica, Mayell creates his very own distinctive tapestry of sound, resulting in eclectic and quirky DJ sets, ever fresh but always recognizable; if you’ve heard him once, you will always know he has taken over the DJ booth, without looking in its direction. His exhilarating energy and contagious enthusiasm for music have the power to draw even the laziest of dancers to the floor with their hands in the air and smiles on their faces. It seems that all he really wants to do is make people happy with his presence and his music, and he does it extremely well. His latest ventures include immersing himself deeper into music production and starting a new club night and a label under the name of LuckIsOn. With one collaboration EP already released on Kanzyani’s Jesus Loved You label, the first four LuckIsOn EPs out, One VA on Pager Records and the forthcoming release on Traffic records it is absolutely certain that you will hear more of this Slovenian hidden treasure in the near future!Their RA profile lists Jesus Loved You, Traffic and Pager Records.Recently at H0L0 · often with O.BEE, Willy Soul, Garrett David, none of them here on Friday

Born in France and based in Slovenia, she grew up immersed in Classical and Jazz, studying music from an early age before curiosity pulled her towards something less defined. Electronic music became a playground — a place where the rules could bend, collide and disappear altogether. Sibil’s unique style blends an eclectic concoction of raw and trippy vocal snips, masterfully merged with Funk-driven bass lines and Techno-cuts alike. Often peppering her sets with a more emotive dusting of dreamy synth - work served up with a smile and a stream of infectious energy. Beyond the booth, she is part of the story behind LuckIsOn, the Slovenian collective, label and party series that grew from a shared obsession with adventurous music into a platform connecting local and international artists. Through years of parties, releases, collaborations and international showcases, LuckIsOn has become woven into the fabric of Slovenia’s underground scene. Together with her partner Mayell, Sibil created Purple Noise Studio — a recording, mixing and creative space hidden in the Slovenian landscape. Conceived as an ecosystem rather than simply a studio, Purple Noise brings together recording, production, collaboration and experimentation, opening its doors to electronic musicians, bands, sound artists and creatives from far beyond the dance floor. Classically trained, contemporarily constructed.
