After another unbelievable year of LPB Brickyard Open Air events, we're back in the club for winter. To prove a point...

Somewhere along the way, groove became a genre and proper became a qualification. Ask someone what they play, and they’ll tell you “proper techno and groove,” as though either explains anything. Meanwhile, progressive house has been repackaged, renamed, and rediscovered by successive generations of dancefloors. The latest mutation draws from the psychedelic fringes of ’90s progressive house, trance, acid, breakbeat, techno, and electro. Rubbery basslines coil around tribal percussion, acid sequences dissolve into spacious synth textures, and trance-like propulsion gives way to unpredictable rhythmic detours. Playful yet hypnotic, futuristic yet unmistakably rooted in the past. Neither a new genre nor a nostalgic revival, but an evolving style built on recombination rather than reinvention. Call it old, call it new, call it played out. But the 2020s still have no defining sound. We propose PSY HOUSE.

    the whole biography
Duncan dove into the Brooklyn dance scene in 2023 and never looked back. He enjoys twisting knobs and staying up late with friends far past his bedtime. His greatest influences come from witnessing the Flaming Lips in high school, living in Berlin in 2018, and, most recently, experiencing Detroit Movement Festival. He loves small animals. Please come dance with him.

“His sets are built on accumulation — low frequencies, loops that shift slowly, percussion that nudges rather than strikes.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
His sets are built on accumulation — low frequencies, loops that shift slowly, percussion that nudges rather than strikes. The kind of energy that keeps a room locked without needing to announce itself. That same approach carries into his work with Le Petit Box, where he's been part of shaping a scene that values intimacy over spectacle — parties across backyards, studios, and club rooms, a floor that forms slowly and holds. He's brought that sensibility into larger spaces like Elsewhere, SILO, and Bossa Nova Civic Club. Following a 2025 release on Jobsite Records, his new EP Infinite Loop is out June 2026 on 39 Records (Paris) — grooves that don't resolve so much as evolve, built for when the night stops moving in a straight line.
