SENGA is a Polish-born, Brooklyn-raised electronic music producer and performer pioneering Neo Tekno — a sound rooted in the raw spirit of the European rave scene, with tributes to the global mainstream influences that have moved dancefloors across generations. Fusing psy, peak-time techno, hard trance, gabber, and hyper tekno through original vocals and custom synthesis, SENGA crosses genres and eras with equal force — honoring the lineage while grasping for new sounds with each performance. On the floor, that vision translates into pure physicality: extended build-ups that hold a crowd at the edge, punishing drops that break the tension wide open, and a relentless kick-and-bass that keeps bodies in a state of ecstatic release. With more than 70 performances in 2024 and a 2025 that brought marquee slots alongside some of the world's top hard techno headliners for crowds of thousands, SENGA continues to grow as a force in underground electronic music. A devotee of the late-night-into-early-morning-into-late-afternoon party, Kristen gravitates toward genre-expansive DJs who take their dancers on long, world-bending journeys through all shades of music (not just electronic). Outside of DJing, Kristen is deeply immersed in NYC’s live music scene, a passion that heavily informs her sets. While her selections are steeped in traditional and modern jazz influences, she loves to weave in elements of commercial/hyperpop, future garage, funk, and classic house—building her sets more around “vibes” than around certain genres. If she’s not behind the decks, she will 100% be dancing. This was, in part, the inspiration behind co-founding Dancing in Socks with Szobi—a bi-monthly party series and online community built around getting back building communities through dancefloors.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, Honey's, Signal · often with DJ girlcrush, Ah Dek, Szobi, none of them here on Saturday
