Alicia (UK)
Alicia is a DJ, producer and co-founder of London-based club night Terra Obscura. Her unique combination of disparate styles is in no doubt owed to her background as a trained classical musician, as well as several years spent working behind the counter of the renowned Phonica Records. Her explorative and considered approach has seen her become a fixture on the London club scene, having played at the likes of Fabric, Phonox and Corsica Studios. Radio-wise, she has recently become a monthly resident on Rinse FM, as well as a regular on Kindred, a station that is fast becoming a creative hub for the city's underground scene.
Beyond DJing, Alicia co-curates Terra Obscura, an experimental club night that looks to bridge the gap between ambient and dance music. Each event begins as a multi-sensory sound bath, allowing the crowd to become comfortable within the space, before the night gradually adjusts its aim toward the dancefloor.
