Chinyere
Growing up between Igbo highlife on his father’s side and alternative rock and punk rock on his mother’s, his sound is shaped by a wide and contrasting musical spectrum. He has a big heart for gqom and uthayela, with a strong affinity for rough textures, heavy basslines and percussive intensity. In his sets, he blends these influences with Hard Drum, UK Garage, Global Bass, Footwork, Bubbling, Singeli, Drill and other subgenres. Driven by a deep sense of playfulness, CHINYERE continuously explores and experiments with new sounds and samples on the dancefloor.
