As a co-founder and driving force behind Chicago’s notorious BOOTS parties, Kirk gets his hands dirty both behind the decks and behind the scenes. This chaotic and wildly successful staple of Chicago’s world-renowned queer and drag scenes has sold out the city’s top tier venues time and time again, leaving a trail of tinsel and tinnitus wherever they go. The likes of DOSS, LSDXOXO, UNIIQU3, Big Freedia, Martyn Bootyspoon, GRRL, SoFTT, and local legends like Pageant Queens have revelled in the chaos of a BOOTS party, but those who know know - it's the vibe brought by the BOOTS crowd that make it such an infamous affair.
