Holywanderer
Originally from Moscow and now based in Berlin, Holywanderer is a DJ, promoter, Matreshka and Whoroscope resident, and co-founder of the Holyberg music association.
His sound moves through Italo, Dark Disco, EBM, New Wave and Indie Dance, blending body-driven rhythms with post-punk tension, shadowy electronics and moments of romantic melancholy. His sets are built around pressure and release - a journey between raw energy, emotional depth and hypnotic club movement.
Active across Berlin’s underground scene, Holywanderer has played at venues and community events including Madame Claude, Blue Velvet, ://about blank and other local spaces, while also producing music events in Berlin through Holyberg. As a promoter, he focuses on creating intimate, carefully curated nights that bring together distinctive selectors, strong visual identity and a sense of shared atmosphere.
His mixes have been featured by DarkDisco.org and Disco Suicide, further connecting his work with the darker and more emotionally charged side of contemporary club culture.
