Substencia
French producer, DJ and live act Substencia has spent over a decade carving out a deeply personal approach to the music, one that weaves baroque emotion, liturgical darkness and destructive rhythms into a visceral techno framework shaped by years of sonic exploration.
Her releases span Tjalk, Kallkallan, Culture Of Violence, Drec, Dead SVN Records, Mutant Modality and her own imprint, culminating in 2025 with her debut vinyl album on US label Venaeform, earning support from international artists. Performing across Europe with both DJ sets and live acts, she has played renowned venues such as Tresor, Moog and Mia Mao. Driven by a heightened musical sensibility, she extends her universe beyond the dancefloor through collaborations on soundtracks, contemporary dance and circus performances. Alongside Pole Ka, she is part of the duo Kabocha, venturing further into the territory of tragic post-rave and haunted noise.
