Clearcast
San Francisco-based selector Clearcast is one to watch. Leaning heavily into NUKG and tenebrous UK Bass, the artist’s sets often lie at the intersection between breakbeat bangers and introspective euphoria, with dreamy soundscapes and bright melodies pulled from internet electronica and experimental dance music.
The Vitamin1000 resident’s live shows, often featured as RA picks, exude an inimitable vibrancy—with sets drawing from the artist’s own discography of smartly-arranged compositions and Soundcloud edits, containing plenty of glistening textures and ricocheting vocal melodies.
The producer continues to impress with prolific releases, including “Crash and Fall” with Psykh on Tabula Rasa's first compilation tape "Here and Now" and as a producer on WTRGRL’s “Heroine,” as heard in Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC 6 Radio show and featured in Wonderland Magazine, and releases with labels such as Locked On, Helix, Tabula Rasa, fourbyfour and Duckland. Their music has received support from industry heavyweights including Disclosure, Salute, G Jones, Conducta, Chopsoe, Camoufly, Darby, scruz, Gemi, and 33 Below.

Who they play with
Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
The nights, the rooms and the bills are the listings themselves. The biography, the labels and the photograph are Resident Advisor's. Nothing on this page was written for it.
