Duriya, a live hypnotic techno DJ and curator based in New York City, is known for weaving immersive soundscapes rooted in hypnotic rhythm, bass, dub, and percussion. With a deep commitment to new sounds, Duriya builds sets that explore the beauty of grooves and rythm crafted by us, for us. Her performances are not just sets, but carefully constructed journeys that create connection and the experience of sound in our scene. As a curator, Duriya runs a monthly party (Trans4Techno) aimed at giving bipoc queer artists a space to grow and have a spotlight, specifically native/indigenous and queer muslims. Driven by community and craft, Duriya continues to push the boundaries of underground techno and its connections with dub and bass, making herself as a staple in our nyc dance scene.
