Szobi
Szobi was introduced to dance music at a time when French house, electro house and garage were filling the clubs in his hometown Budapest, Hungary in the late 2000’s. It quickly became clear that dancefloors are his happy place — it's his goal is to create this for others when he’s on the decks. After moving to NYC, he jumped into the local dance scene, with emphasis on anything with some thick synths. He started the event Dancing in Socks in his studio apartment to bring friends together and create a space to perform. Since then, he's had the opportunity to perform at many iconic NYC locations, including Jupiter Disco, Elsewhere and Cafe Kitsune.

Their rooms
One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.
- ElsewhereFeb 2025 – Mar 20264 nights
- Earthly DelightsMar 2025 – Jun 20252 nights
Once each: Music For A While, Jupiter Disco, The Bar at Café Kitsuné and The Sultan Room. Two of the 12 listings never named a room, and are not counted as one.
Who they play with
Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
