Argent State

6 listings in one named room, over the last three years

Jake from State Pharm and Silver (Ag) first crossed paths in an unlikely place for two future DJs and medics — a boat in Bushwick, February 2020. Call it fate, call it a shared love of basslines and adrenaline, but what started as a casual conversation over a Bushwick waterway and city views turned into a deep friendship forged in rhythm, resilience, and rave.

The duo reconnected on the dancefloor in 2021, right as the city began to breathe again. That reunion wasn’t just serendipity — it was ignition. Since then, Jake and Silver have become boat buddies for life, both behind the decks and in the field.

By day (and often night), they’re trained medics who have worked EMS at festivals and clubs across New York, always ready to step up to the scene, steady hands in the chaos. By night (and sometimes morning), they’re selectors — DJs with a deep respect for the dancefloor and a mission to move it. They’ve played sets at legendary NYC spaces like TBA Brooklyn (RIP), Double Decker Disko (RIP), Signal, The House, and a rotating roster of underground venues where the lights are low, the subs are warm, and the community is everything.

The rest of it — two more paragraphs

Starting on digital controllers and USBs, Jake and Silver have steadily built and refined their vinyl arsenals — digging, trading, and acquiring records that speak as much to soul as they do to sound. Their sets weave genres and tempos, but always center one idea: healing through music. Whether it’s a sunrise closer or a sweaty peak-hour push, their goal is the same — to hold space, build connection, and keep each other safe.

They believe in looking out for one another — behind the decks, on the dancefloor, and in life. Because when the beat drops, it’s not just about the music. It’s about the people in the room. It’s about care. And that’s exactly what they’re here to give.

Who they play with

Six nights on the books, and no name on more than one of them.

24 people have stood on one of these bills; none has stood on two.
