dero
Dero has been an avid record collector for over a decade, and has started taking the practice seriously during his time in Chicago. More than access to records, the city played a major role in shaping his views of the dance floor culture—where music operates as a shared, communal experience rather than an individual pursuit.
Now based in New York City, Dero brings that perspective to the floor, drawing from rare grooves sourced globally alongside classic Chicago and Detroit house, as well as his own edits. His selections are guided by an emphasis on collective energy.
