Graeme

Graeme is a DJ, promoter, and resident of Lotion Collective and Freak NYC, two queer-forward collectives dedicated to building intentional dance floors and community-centered nightlife. Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, he spent six years in Seattle where he helped create Lotion Collective before relocating to New York City to help launch Freak NYC.

Equally at home behind the decks and behind the scenes, Graeme approaches DJing as an extension of space-making. His sound is rooted in midwest, purist techno, while also drawing from electro, house, EBM, Italo, and minimal. His selections reward purists while leaving room for unpredictability, balancing deep cuts with occasional left-field turns.

Whether opening a room, closing a night, or carrying a dance floor through the early morning hours, Graeme's focus remains the same: creating memorable moments of shared experience through music.
