Melanie Havens, a São Paulo native now based in Berlin, is a standout DJ known for her eclectic and dynamic sets that move fluidly across sonic landscapes. Active behind the decks since the age of 17, Melanie began her journey at São Paulo’s renowned club D-Edge before relocating to Berlin at 19, where she continued to develop her distinctive approach to electronic music.
From wave and Italo disco to EBM, electroclash, new beat, electro, dark disco, techno, synthpop, post-punk, and beyond, her selections are driven by vibrant synths, powerful basslines. Beyond the booth, Melanie is a writer and curator for The Brvtalist , as well as a resident at its events. She has brought her sound to dance floors around the world, with appearances in New York, Paris, Bogotá, Shanghai, and beyond. She is also the founder of Klaash , a party dedicated to electroclash and adjacent sounds.
