maxim_jl

Born in Frankfurt am Main, maxim_jl found his footing on the dance floors of institutions such as Robert Johnson, Cocoon and Tanzhaus West, absorbing house and techno from an early age. Now Berlin-based, he threads that formative schooling into sets that glide from disco-fueled grooves to the punchy momentum of modern house, always tuned to the pulse of the floor. His mission is timeless: create spaces where strangers trade smiles, sweat and new stories, giving back to the culture that has shaped him.

Alongside this, he co-founded Slammin’ House Movement, a Berlin-based platform shaping a distinct, high-energy take on house music. Rooted in the city’s underground club culture and influenced by scenes beyond it, the project channels his sound into curated spaces where selection carries intent, bringing artists and communities together to carry that culture forward.
