They define themselves as a House DJ, understanding the genre as something dynamic and fluid. Their sound mixes old-school and new-school from 120bpm up to 140bpm, constantly trying to capture the heartbeat of the dancefloor. You will dance to a range from jackin' techno to Underground House, from the deepest to the most uplifting beats, always in search of the groove and dance. They understand the DJ Booth/Dancefloor relationship as elements that communicate and travel together, both part of the same thing. Nobody is more than anybody on the dancefloor. Through their DJ sets they fight in order to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced, giving visibility and voice to the FLINTA&POC community. Through and with their collective OTTF they have connected with other collectives always seeking alliances & collective awareness in the queer/rave nightclub scene.Their RA profile lists Others To The Front.Recently at M01, ciao ciao Bar, Bulbul Berlin · often with Fluffi, Robin Flux, Sky Deep, none of them here that night

the whole biography
She has her own rhythm in music and in life -- before finally stepping behind the decks herself, DJ BONEY S already looked back on two decades of club culture experience. Passionately collecting vinyl from various different genres for years, she started out as a party organiser in her native Belgium. Her behind the scenes work continued after relocating to Germany where she was heavily involved in establishing the PARALLEL nights at Griessmühle as a fixture of Berlin nightlife. As a former booker and label head, DJ BONEY S developed her own unique taste that is first and foremost shaped by one timeless medium: VINYL. She draws from classic 90s sounds and queer techno, travelling to otherworldly electro or cold industrial beats. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes pouncing -- but always trippy -- her sets invite you to close your eyes. DJ BONEY S is a resident of SOUSAMI (Cyprus), female:pressure member and publishes the PRALL podcast series. She is also one half of DJ Frottée and Hypnotist, both together with zikade. She was a core member for 3 years of the Berlin based queer collective SLIME.Their RA profile lists Parallel Berlin.Recently at AMT, Beate Uwe, Tresor / Globus · often with zikade, ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, none of them here that night
