DJ Nobu

9 listings in 5 named rooms, over the last three years · Tokyo · 7,783 following on RA

also plays Berlin — 7 nights

Nobu is something of a cult figure for those who know with decades of experience, all of which are distilled at his acclaimed party ‘Future Terror’, his label ‘Bitta’ and his few choice production outings.

All of this has slowly but surely turned Nobu from being one of Japan’s, to one of the world’s most in demand selectors who is famously flexible and ever evolving.

Their rooms

One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.

Once each: BASEMENT, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Knockdown Center and The Chocolate Factory. Three of the 9 listings never named a room, and are not counted as one.

Who they play with

Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
