BABEITSPURR
PURR spins a variety of diasporic dance music genres from nola bounce, bouyon, baile bass, afrobeats, amapiano; to gqom, dancehall, shatta, hip-hop/rap, jersey club, ukg, ghetto tech, jungle, juke, drum n bass and dubstep: activating the club’s potential as a site of release, embodiment and new dreams for being together.
In the Black, Queer, and underground NYC nightlife circuit, PURR is a regular guest DJ at local haunts in Brooklyn and frequently headlines sold-out nights at top-tier venues such as SOB’s, Elsewhere, Xanadu, House of Yes & more.
PURR’s finesse for nostalgic sounds alongside hyper-contemporary sonic cuts bends time to reveal the long-standing and ongoing history of Black club culture—preserving what's come before while seducing and challenging crowds with potential futures all on the dancefloor.

Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
