MEMPHY STARTED DJING AT AGE 17 WITH A SET AT THE GUCCI STORE IN SOHO. FIVE YEARS LATER SHE BRINGS HER TRANCE-Y, GENRE-BENDING TECHNO SETS TO NYC CLUBS LIKE BASEMENT, BOSSA NOVA, ELSEWHERE, LE BAIN, NOWADAYS, AND PARAGON EVERY WEEK. INTERVIEW MAGAZINE CALLED MEMPHY ONE OF “THE DOLLS KEEPING NYC ALIVE.” IN A RECENT PROFILE, NEW YORK MAGAZINE PLACED MEMPHY AT THE CENTER OF A WAVE OF TRANS TECHNO DJS WHO ARE TAKING OVER NYC’S QUEER NIGHTLIFE. THIS FALL, MEMPHY MADE HER EUROPEAN DEBUT AT PARIS FASHION WEEK PLAYING PARTIES FOR YEEZY AND FWRD. OTHER BRANDS SHE HAS DJ’D EVENTS FOR INCLUDE HBO, DIESEL, PLAYBOY, AND INSTAGRAM.

Their rooms

One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.

Aug 2023Jan 2027

Once each: Good Room, Signal, Nowadays, Earthly Delights, SILO, BASEMENT, Car Park, Le Bain, 99 Scott Ave, 3 Dollar Bill, Silencio, Rash, Market Hotel and Trans-Pecos. Five of the 47 listings never named a room, and are not counted as one.

Who they play with

Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
