“In 2004 her debut album “Blondie” became a mega success.”
their own biography
the whole biography
In 2004 her debut album “Blondie” became a mega success. From De:Bug to the New York Times, the critics were over the moon. It was to take six long years until the next album. Six years filled with brilliant co-operations, expressive remixes (such as “Grand Canyon” for Tracey Thorn from Everything But The Girl – released on her compilation CD “Adaptations – Mixtape #1” on Kompakt), and various singles. In addition, she has been keeping the “Cologne style” flag flying with the magnificent group “Cologne Tape” since 2009. Her legendary live shows took her once around the world and back again before her new album “Meine zarten Pfoten” was released on DJ Koze’s label Pampa Records in 2011. Hamburg concert hall tycoon and star author Tino Hanekamp writes: “In the broadest sense of the word, it’s pop. But ultimately it’s music that exudes so much warmth and tranquillity that it puts even the greatest bundle of nerves into a state of ultra-fine-tuned receptiveness.”Their RA profile lists Kompakt, Areal, IRR, Pampa and 2 more.Last at Ritter Butzke in Apr · often with Toribio, Sarah Kreis, Gina Sabatini, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Known for his versatile, layered closing sets that emphasise atmospheric storytelling through tension and release, he has built a reputation as a dynamic figure both in the DJ booth and the studio. In recent years, Amotik has expanded his artistic scope. He launched AMTK+, a sub-label providing a platform for like-minded artists with a shared musical vision. He also collaborated with Answer Code Request on a bass-heavy record for Delsin, giving both artists space to explore their UK and breaks roots. Most recently, he showcased a lighter side with select house sets at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Merge in New York, and Radion in Amsterdam. His touring schedule has taken him to iconic venues such as Berghain, Fold, De School, and Khidi, while he maintains residencies at the revered Goethebunker in Essen and Pax-Romana in Amsterdam. Alongside notable releases on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure, Amotik's critically acclaimed albums Vistār and Patanjali have further cemented his reputation as a visionary producer, earning praise from Mixmag and Groove Magazine. 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of his self-titled imprint - not just a milestone, but a testament to perseverance, proving that consistency, dedication, and staying true to one’s sound can shape a lasting career in an ever-evolving scene. André Dancekowski is a DJ, regulator, and true nightlife connoisseur. Known for his effortless style behind the decks and sometimes at the bar, his sound reflects years of dedication to club culture. Over time, he’s witnessed countless electronic music trends come and go — yet his heart has always belonged to house music. One of his DJ sets on HÖR Berlin went viral, racking up more than 1.7 million views and counting — making it one of the platform’s most-played sets. Check it out — or better yet, catch him live and experience how he regulates the dance floor.Recently at Prince Charles, Kater, Humboldthain Club · often with Multifun, Emanuele Barilli, Black Loops, none of them here that night
“Character unlocked: karete bu.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Character unlocked: karete bu. Rooted in House groovers, UK-leaning rhythms, and a weakness for records with a bit of dusty history. Her sets are guided by hipswings that occasionally take a left turn when the room is ready for it, sharp timing, and a tendency to let things simmer until they don’t. As a former resident at Leipzig’s Institut fuer Zukunft, she fostered young talent in the DJ rehearsal room and developed a sound that isn’t afraid of spectacle when the moment calls for it. Today, based in Berlin, she works for the beloved festival Nachti by Nachtdigital, helping to shape it from the inside out and keeping the backstage just as lively as the dancefloor.Recently at ://about blank, Flughafen Tegel, Paloma · often with ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, Emanuele Barilli, none of them here that night

“... a volcano of songs erupted and by chance one of the demos caught the ear of DJ Koze.”
their own biography
the whole biography
... a volcano of songs erupted and by chance one of the demos caught the ear of DJ Koze. The release of ”Purple Drank” on Koze’s Pampa Records in 2010 couldn’t have been better timed: The same year Axel graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Gothenburg University, with empty pockets and big dj dreams. Around that time he also moved his studio equipment into a basement on Barnhusgatan (“Orphanage Street”) in Stockholm, together with Petter Nordqvist and Kornél Kovács – the beginning of Studio Barnhus. Today Studio Barnhus is arguably the most important label for independent dance music in Scandinavia, with over 100 releases from a broad spectrum of artists like Bella Boo, Sofia Kourtesis, Jimi Tenor and of course the trio themselves. Axel does A&R and creative direction work for the label – he also released his celebrated debut album ”Family Vacation” through Studio Barnhus in 2013. Since then, he’s kept a steady flow of releases on other lauded labels like the aforementioned Pampa and Tokyo powerhouse Mule Musiq, garnering nominations for Grammis and P3 Guld (the two most prestigious Swedish pop awards), as well as being named composer of the year by the Swedish songwriters guild. 2022 will see Axel returning to Studio Barnhus and the album format with ”LUZ” and ”Quest for fire”, by far Axel’s most ambitious project to date with guests like Off The Meds vocalist Kamohelo, saxophonist Kristian Harborg and Baba Stiltz. Axel’s collaborative work has always been a part of his success. He’s one third of Man Tear - a project with Petter Nordqvist and Johan Jan Jonasson released by James Murphy’s DFA. He’s half of Talaboman with John Talabot, adding releases on techno institutions R&S and Cocoon to his catalog. Their 2017 album, The Night Land, came with much fanfare – the duo has two EPs scheduled for 2022, to be released on their newly formed Night Land Records imprint. Axel's relentless work ethic shines through as he balances a busy release schedule and global touring, headlining events like Coachella and Burning Man. He's a fixture on respected platforms like BBC Radio 1 and Boiler Room, while also lending his style to brand campaigns. With live shows, two solo albums, and Studio Barnhus's busiest year ahead, Axel cements his status as a leading force in electronic music.Their RA profile lists International DeeJay Gigolo Records, Aus Music, Italic, Moodmusic and 6 more.often with Rebolledo, none of them here that night

He has served his signature sound at Panorama Bar, Fold, Bassiani, Nowadays, Club Raum, TAG and beyond. Yeates’ sets are inflected with an attitude that can at once be incredibly playful and theatrically sincere; a duality that animates the queer lineage of electronic dance music in which Yeates places himself. Since November 2019, Yeates’ label Radiant Records has released an array of EPs by artists both local and abroad. Caleesi has developed her very own signature sound that has been shaped by influences of Urban Cosmonaut’s musical diversity, ranging from world music to downtempo deep house. But her influences reach far further and also include artists like Nicolas Jaar, Mira, Lauryn Hill and many more. Caleesi is an electronic music artist based in Berlin. Her music is diverse in style yet consistent in vibe: with an ear for melancholia that goes beyond genre or tempo, she often combines deep basslines with an emotional touch. Her sets tend to build up tension slowly, gradually releasing a flow that travels through warm synth lines into different moods and atmospheres. She loves to tell a good story and has created her own kind of synergy in the process; mixing moody melodies with textured beats as the vibe continues to ebb and flow.Recently at Kater, gART.n · often with Sarah Kreis, ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, none of them here that night

When Carly Zeng DJs, it’s highly unlikely she’ll do the same thing twice. Chinese-born and now Berlin-based, she has formed quite the community in her chosen city through her party, Dissident, which fosters a nurturing approach to music discovery. Her long love affair with vinyl-focused digging is no secret. And the ripple effects of such veracious collecting can be heard in the way she weaves together the many genres that she likes–be it a trippy tribal or prog track with a weird structure or an off-kilter sound effect in a punchy house tune – she’s forever on the lookout for tracks with that little extra spice. Carly’s entry point into dance music in NYC, led her into smaller parties, DIY spaces and warehouse raves and the community spirit she found there is something she still carries with her today. A known name within Berlin’s queer music scene, she is regularly billed at parties such as Cocktail D’Amore and Body Language. Whether as a DJ, community organizer or dancer on the floor, Carly is staunchly attentive to her role within the dance music ecosystem and how to best curate a warming experience for everyone involved. “Part Miami Bass, vintage house bounce, and tribal euphoria, Coffintexts' music is a cocktail of indulgence served straight from the queer underground.”

the whole biography
Part Miami Bass, vintage house bounce, and tribal euphoria, Coffintexts' music is a cocktail of indulgence served straight from the queer underground. When Coffintexts first burst onto the club scene in the late '10s, she was part of a new cohort of Miami producers reshaping dance music. Equally influenced by everything from 90s tribal rhythms to Latin American-inflected Club to UK rave, she emerged as part of the city's new guard. Putting out records on labels including Omnidisc, Club Romantico, Club QU, Classico, and a forthcoming record on TraTraTrax, she has quickly established herself as one of the Magic City's most vibrant musicians. Even within this crowded field, Coffintexts acts as a unique center of gravity. While drawing from the percussive promiscuity of her Peruvian heritage and the bass weight of her hometown, she also gravitated towards the cerebral funk of '90s hardgroove, wiggly house, and the chromatic polish of UK techno. Cutting her teeth in house parties and gay clubs across Miami, she's always gravitated towards the minimal, groove-focused energy of dance music at its most muscular and hypnotic. This background has put her into conversation not just with the 305, but with the larger global queer dance music cosmology and she's shared the decks with DJs like Volvox, ISAbella, and Shyboi. There aren't many producers and DJs who marry the paranoid and the psychedelic, the euphoric and the illicit, the darkroom and the big room, the mind and the body, like Coffintexts. As a producer, she's just as comfortable turning out lean and stripped back techno as she is sultry, bottom-heavy downtempo with occasional partner-in-crime Jonny from Space. Her DJing is just as adventurous. Her mixes for outlets like Crack and Mixmag showcase an ambitious and daring style where she jumps between tempos, eras, and genres without ever losing sight of that central current of hip-swinging groove. It's this intuitive and bodily approach to mixing that has kept dancefloors from Miami to Shanghai to Bristol, from Nowadays to III Points Festival to Razzmatazz gyrating and sweating it out until the early hours.Their RA profile lists Omnidisc, Femme Culture, Black Book Records, Club Qu and 4 more.Last at RSO.BERLIN in Mar · often with ROBUS, SUMME, none of them here that night

Dasha Rush is a Russian-born, French national, based in Berlin, who is an artist that spends her time traveling around the globe while working on a wide variety of electronic music and art projects. She has released music on labels such as Sonic Groove and Raster Noton, and has also collaborated with others. Additionally, some of her work has been released on her own labels, Fullpanda Records (2005) and the experimental sub-label Hunger to Create (2004) She began her musical career at a young age in Moscow, where she was one of the first female DJs/producers in Eastern Europe. After moving to France in 1996, she gained international recognition in the early 2000s and developed as an electronic music composer, producer, and DJ, experimenting with various forms of art by collaborating with dancers and painters. Rush views genres as starting points rather than destinations and explores rare electronic experimentation that draws from the roots of underground music from the early 20th century. Her album on Raster-Noton (2015), could be a metaphor for her musical work: "These 16 pieces are transmissions from that state between sleep and wakefulness," said Tony Naylor, a reflection of the in- between zones her music often inhabits. Dubby but intense, brutal but tender, foggy yet clear—Sleepstep was a wonderful mass of contradictions. Not being one thing or the other is vitally important to Rush, which goes hand-in-hand with her strong independent streak. She pushes the boundaries of contemporary music to the limit and encourages experimentation with various musical and non-musical forms, creating thoughtful compositions in multidisciplinary projects. Her audiovisual work, inspired by scientific subjects, includes projects like "Antarctic Takt" (2014), "Aurora Cerebralis" (2019), and "Dark Hearts of Space" (2015). In her multidisciplinary show "Les Territoires Ephemeres" (2018), she combines different artistic disciplines such as Japanese butoh, theatre, poetry, and digital music and visuals. In conclusion, Dasha Rush is a live performer, electronic music composer, sound artist, and techno DJ whose work extends beyond the dance floor and sometimes beyond music itself. In her strange and twisted world, the machines are the protagonists of a neo-romanticism, weaved with human dreams. www.dashrush.org www.fullpanda.com Selected performance: -Antarctic Takt ( Audio Visual) 2014 -Dark Hearts Of Space ( Audio Visual) 2015 -Les Territoires Ephemers 2018/ Multidisciplinary) - Aurora Cerebralis 2019 ( Audio Visual) -Dasha Rush and Schloss Mirabel( Cello) (New classic experimental electronica Live show - Hypothetically Personal ( Audio Visual) 2024 Dasha Rush & UY studio collaboration -Zone ( Contemporary Dance / Ballet) -CODESS - choreographed by Candela CaptainTheir RA profile lists Raster-Noton, Fullpanda, Sonic Groove, Hunger to create and 6 more.Recently at Berghain, RSO.BERLIN · often with Berghain, Innersha, Megan Leber, none of them here that night

Always aiming to engage in a conversation with her crowd, dancing to her sets will release that inner gangster gut feeling in you. Body focused, voluptuous house and techno at its best. Doudou MD strongly believes music has the power to heal and serve as a medicine, which is one of the main reasons music has always been at the core of her life. Following her ears and heart when digging for new records, her bag is constantly being re-filled with a rich variety of music. Although the rhythms and genre of her selection may vary, the constant factor is her unmistakable love for every track she lays on the record player. After spending her early (club)years in Utrecht and Amsterdam, surrounded by her forever cherished Slapfunk and VBX brothers, she spent 5 years in Berlin. Here clubs like Berghain, Hoppetosse and Ohm played a big influence on her musical and personal developments. She takes much of her inspiration from artist like Zip, Roman Flügel, Paul Johnson, as well as Steve O’Sullivan and Mr. G. “Before there was EDM and its multiplying sub-genres, there was techno.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Before there was EDM and its multiplying sub-genres, there was techno. And at its forefront, is Joel Mull. Fueled by a passion that has become increasingly more defned and tangible over two decades, the Swedish DJ/producer has been an avid pursuer of the sound from when he was a teenager. In the process, he has become established in techno’s vanguard. Mull’s introduction to techno came when, as a 16-year-old, he made the pilgrimage to Manchester, UK’s storied Hacienda nightclub, propelled by his interested in that city’s early ‘90s indie dance scene. He was refused entry to the club for being underage and ended up in a basement with garbage bag-covered walls, lit by a stroboscope, fled with smoke, and techno blasting. This was Mull’s frst encounter with the sound. “I had heard acid house, Balearic stuf, but I had a mental thing with techno,” he says. “The disharmony, the weird sounds, it was so intense. I got really hooked.” Upon his return to his hometown of Stockholm, Mull’s pursuit of techno led him to dance record shops, techno parties, and the rave scene, where he immersed himself in the sound. At the same time, he started at an arts high school as a continuation of his musical upbringing: singing in a boy’s choir from when he was seven years of age where he practiced eight hours a day and performed every weekend. This was another factor that drew Mull to techno. “I was very tired of the square way of seeing music and it´s rules,” he says. “What techno did was break rules. You didn’t have to be a musician in order to create techno. It was another way of making music: sampling, ftering, efects, generating diferent colors. It made me explore music more, gave me courage to search for diferent methods to combine music. It was, in a certain way, chaos, and that was attractive to me.” Befriending likeminded peers, Mull’s brotherly association with another techno stalwart, Adam Beyer, began in high school. Spending days listening to Beyer’s record collection, it was from him that Mull learned how to DJ. His first public performance as a DJ was during the afternoon break at school using the school’s sound system and his own turntables to entertain his classmates. From here, Mull moved to the second rooms at parties, DJing ambient and chill-out sounds, a good training ground for him when he was still learning how to beat-match. Mull’s real education as a DJ came when he moved to Germany in 1994. For the first six month he was resident at club called Labor, in the north then becoming the resident at Unit in Hamburg from 1995 to 1998. Here, he played marathon sets lasting 10 hours. He was also the opening and closing DJ for marquee international guest DJs at the club. Playing the gamut from hard techno to acid, trance, and ambient styles, Mull learned the art of being a DJ. His crafted sets were, and are, mesmerizing; taking their time to grow, reaching a delayed crescendo that is much more powerful than the instant builds and drops of today’s predictable EDM. “The way I see DJing is telling a story,” says Mull—who despite the multitude of stamps in his passport makes a point of playing in his hometown at least six times a year to stay connected to the scene from which he came. “Your identity as a DJ is your way of telling the story. You have so much power behind the mixer, controlling these frequencies, you can make people forget everything and just be there in the moment. It’s not about bringing the noise and hands in the air, that instant reaction. For me, it’s about taking your time to build something, taking the crowd—and yourself—to a different place. Techno is about that hypnotizing, long-spanning journey. It’s where I come from; it’s what I strive toward.” Mull’s production know-how started and moves at the same pace as his DJing. His initial forays into making techno happened in Beyer’s fateful bedroom where the two of them and their friends pooled their resources to obtain classic pieces of outboard gear: a synthesizer and a sampler, which they plugged into Beyer’s mixer and started experimenting. Their trial-and-error eforts gained them enough recognition to start releasing music on a multitude of labels. Mull released his frst full-length artist album, Imagination in 2000 on his own label, the defunct Inside. A representation of himself at the time, Imagination is a personal piece of work whose creation played double duty for Mull by serving as therapy of sorts. He followed Imagination with The Observer in 2007. The Observer was released on the re-launched Harthouse label, which once belonged to techno godfather Sven Vath, a major infuence on Mull. The Observer was developed as a live project and put together like a DJ set with gradual builds and movements similar to what Mull would perform at a club. His next album, Sensory in 2011, was released on Beyer’s Truesoul label. This musical home gave Mull the comfort and confidence to really be himself, designing an album geared toward the dancefoor. More lately he released on labels like Parabel, which he is also part of the label team, Nicole Moudaber’s respected MOOD imprint, the Dutch Mary go Wild, Leipzig based Distillery records and Sasha’s standard-bearing Last Night On Earth—a particular badge of honor for Mull who considers Sasha a major inspiration. Not to forget under the alias Gotzkowsky, Mull released the track Shoulder of Orion, on the Berlin-based label, Dystopian. “Techno is not as rebellious as when it started,” observes Mull. “People used to not understand music being made with computers and synthesizers and not ‘real’ instruments. They didn’t consider it music. The kids that went to techno clubs only drank water and danced their asses of. The clubs couldn’t make money of of them. He continues, “But techno was always the music of tomorrow. I knew that way back then. The formula of techno is so basic everyone catches it. At a time when you’re getting bombarded with media and diferent frequencies, techno streamlines everything, gathering people into one frequency that feels harmonic and united, a feeling of being together.”Their RA profile lists Underwater Records, Tortured Records, Cocoon Recordings, Liebe*Detail and 6 more.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, ://about blank · often with Lena Brumby, Alex.Do, Jessamine, none of them here that night

“My approach to my music: I love loopy and trippy techno.”
their own biography
the whole biography
My approach to my music: I love loopy and trippy techno. When dancing, I love to let go of everything around me and enter into a deeper dialogue with myself. At this stage, I am 100% in tune with myself. This works for me when the groove drives me and the elements I hear are interesting but not too intrusive. That's exactly what I try to create on the floor. To achieve this and also to create the necessary element of surprise, I combine different loops randomly and blindly. Since I never know exactly what will happen, I am also surprised and inspired by it. My instruments: -Drums (TR8S) -Bass (Modular) -Rumble Bass (TR8S) -Atmos (Drumrack, Ableton) -Synth 1 (MicroMonsta 2) -Synth 2 (Polysix VST, Ableton) -Vocal Samples (Ableton) -Misc Samples (TR8S) More nerdy Information: For each of these instruments, I have prepared about 30 different loops, most of them 1 bar long. Using the Streamdeck and a self-built ‘Max for Live Tool’, I can select a completely random loop for each instrument with the push of a button. The tonality can be set. To make sure it’s not completely random, I can choose between different categories, such as chords/arpeggiator. I can control the complexity of the loop using controls. All instruments run through Ableton (RME Fireface UCXii). With the help of ‘Launchcontrol’ and 2x ‘Midifighter Twister’, I can control all the parameters that are important to me. Filters, reverb, random delay and pitch effects glue everything together. When playing, I rely on my intuition. I can sense what should happen 2-4 bars in advance. If I feel like I want to hear a new chord pattern, I press a button and let myself be surprised. If I like it, I develop it further. If I don’t like it, I move on. Since the whole structure is improvised, I am correspondingly excited before the gigs. Because almost nothing can be planned in advance. My biggest clue is whether I dance. If I get myself to dance, I am satisfied with what happens.Last at Jonny Knüppel in May · often with Bruder Jakob aka DJ BJ, Thomas Ebermann, Meat Cube, none of them here that night

Somewhere between stardust and strobe lights — inviting dancers to close their eyes, open their hearts, and get lost in music. With three decades of rave culture and a decade behind the decks, Mimi Love takes her audience on an electro-nomadic journey. Her sound is shaped by the world around her, shifting from groovy tunes to grounding house — always with deep feeling and a sincere vision. Her ability to weave different genres into a captivating, hypnotic musical experience is what makes her unique. Mimi Love plays house music for dancers who love to dance and lovers who love to love. Her journey began at the legendary Bar25 in Berlin, where she spun dreamy downbeat tracks — until the "four-on-the-floor" sound stole her heart. With this newfound passion, Mimi Love launched into a new dimension. Today, she tours Europe, the Americas, and the Pacific, while her roots remain firmly planted in Berlin. From Katerblau to her ties with the Bachstelzen Collective and unforgettable sets at festivals like Garbicz and Fusion, Mimi Love consistently brings her “Love Sound” to the crowd. Mimi Love is more than music — it’s an experience. Her sets are a cocktail of exotic sounds, sprinkled with disco stardust. Even in her early years — adding stilt-walking magic and hands-on carpentry to Berlin’s hedonistic scene — she infused everything with wild spirit and elegant charm. Today, she radiates her inner light, blending influences into something uniquely her own. Alan Abrahams AKA Portable AKA Bodycode has been in motion his whole life—growing up in South Africa, coming of age in London, decamping to Lisbon and finally settling in Berlin—and his deeply syncopated brand of electronic dance music has evolved with every step of the journey. His formative years were spent in an impoverished Cape Town township ironically tagged “Beverly Hills”, and to the backbeat of the first wave of Chicago house records he emerged out of the ruins of a post-apartheid South Africa. Inspired musically, yet frustrated geographically, he relocated to London in 1997. In London, Abrahams began recording as Portable, the experimental, atmospheric project that acts a living link between the indigenous sounds of his youth, and those first records whose futuristic aesthetic broadened his horizons. He founded the Süd Electronic label with his partner Lerato and released a string of 12" releases. A succession of full-length albums followed - Cycling and Futuristic Experiments #005 on Background, Version on ~scape records, and the Powers of Ten for Süd Electronic in 2007. A rich and expansive record, Powers of Ten further explored his African heritage through a new lexicon of sonic influences, acquired from his time living in Portugal. Upon moving to Lisbon, Abrahams conceived of Bodycode, a more dancefloor-centric project that complements Portable’s headier textures with a more body-moving aesthetic. As Bodycode, Abrahams harnesses his desire to “unlock the psyche via the body,” layering tech-funk with wisps of melody, heady effects, and a liberal wash of otherworldly vocal samples. Somewhere between the beats for the body and melody for the soul, Abrahams believes, lies the Bodycode. The result was Bodycode’s first full-length, The Conservation of Electric Charge, a whirlwind of percussive, multi-layered techno released on Spectral Sound in 2006. After a three-year absence, Abrahams resurrected the moniker for second Spectral full-length, 2009’s Immune, an intricately textured album of vocal-laced house. “I just felt it a good time for a warm, nurturing aesthetic,” says Abrahams of Bodycode’s shift in tone, “We need that right now.”Their RA profile lists Perlon, Musik Krause, Circus Company, LMD and 4 more.Last at Berghain in May

„The craze about the music...“ ...the man called Prosumer is besotted with it. Since Achim Brandenburg heartily grabbed the microphone under this moniker in 2005 for Frankfurt’s then undisputed Label Playhouse, he showed that lasciviousness, a fever for Chicago’s Jack flavour and consciousness of tradition aren’t necessarily bound to a time and a place. Vision, passion and knowledge make Prosumer a guardian of house music history and one of the formative artists, influential DJs and important producers of our days. While deriving his name from Alvin Toffler’s techno sci-fi-bible The Third Wave (producing and consuming at the same time), Prosumer lives up to his name. With more than a decade of Hard-Wax-Record-Store-enculturation on the clock (first in Saarbrucken, then Berlin), he spent countless nights in clubs, days looking for music and years refining his art and becoming in line with the “big three”. This is not a reference to Detroit’s car companies, but the city’s musical heritage that – together with the Big Apple and the Windy city – laid the foundation for techno and house builds with the Big Apple and the Windy City. Prosumer oscillates between these poles. That holds true for his productions, which are affected by references and historical vertexes, but never feel to be out of time or place. An album with Murat Tepeli and collaborations with Tama Sumo expand his discography for labels like the aforementioned Playhouse, Running Back or Swayzak’s 240 Volts. On the other hand – and that might be far more important – this is exemplary for his DJ work since the mid-nineties. Prosumer connects the tracks and songs of this music’s golden age with the worthwhile pieces and developments of today. Accordingly to that special feeling which is so hard to couch, he gets engaged in it from tip to toe – and so does his audience. Proved by his mission as one of the residents in Berlin’s influential club institution, on his official mix CD for that place that describes his spectrum of sound perfectly and by this certain magic that travels with and in him everywhere. „Through his body and through his veins...“Their RA profile lists Simple Records, Playhouse, Diamonds & Pearls, Ostgut Ton and 2 more.Recently at Funkhaus Berlin, Tresor / Globus, Beate Uwe · often with Chris Cruse, Grace Sands, Michael Serafini, none of them here that night

“Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene. Starting with his first residency at the long-defunct Zementgarten in 2006, he went on playing venues and festivals of all sizes and magnitudes. Known for relentless DJ sets that meld uncompromising techno with highly emotional atmospheres and soundscapes, he’s managed to have a major impact on the world’s most cherished floors while remaining passionately independent. Rødhåd continues to abstain from excessive hype, staying very much connected to the community that formed him. In the last years he deepened his interest in the communal aspect of electronic music even further, curating excessive multipersonal live jams at places like Berghain or Dekmantel Festival. By launching Dystopian in 2009, first as a party series and later as a label, he made a distinct mark on Berlin’s techno landscape through a raw and honest vision, that felt true amid the city’s more dark and industrial edge. With releases from the likes of Alex.Do, Recondite, Distant Echoes or Rødhåd himself, Dystopian cemented itself as one of Berlins major techno trademarks throughout the decade of its existence. In 2017 Rødhåd released his debut LP Anxious, demonstrating his versatility as producer, spanning straightforward techno to dim and dusky ambient tunes. With his latest imprint, WSNWG, he created a platform for collaborative explorations in sound and texture with long-time companions and newfound friends alike. While the label’s core output remains a steady stream of dancefloor oriented 12”s it also released full-length albums that venture deeper into experimental and exploratory territories. The concept album series Out Of Place Artefacts (with Vril) takes the listener on a journey through deep introspection and otherworldly land- and soundscapes, while always always alluding to the rich tradition of electronic music in an abstract and mediated rather than direct way. Released in 2022, the LP In Vere (with JakoJako) departs from the characteristically dark and melancholic undertone of Rødhåd’s work, delving into lush, organic textures and ethereal, arpeggiated themes, also implementing elements of electronica. The sublabel WSNWG Back To Zero is devoted to solo releases and compilations, launched in 2020 through the highly acclaimed LP Mood, comprising archive material from 2017/2018, marking Rødhåd’s first purely ambient and experimental release, free of any dancefloor ambition. Over the years, Rødhåd has proved himself as a proponent of true craftsmanship, applying the same rigour to his work in the studio as to selecting and mixing records. Remaining hands-on, and keeping a down-to-earth mentality - steering clear of spectacle - has made him a long-established staple in the electronic music community.Their RA profile lists Cocoon Recordings, CLR, Token, Wolfskuil Records and 6 more.Recently at ÆDEN, Berghain · often with Berghain, Richard Akingbehin, Marcel Dettmann, none of them here that night

Since 2019, he has overseen sound engineering at BASSIANI, later aligning with Morevi and co-founding Unforeseen alongside Hamatsuki in 2024. Skyra’s practice is grounded in a classical musical education, from which he gradually transitioned into electronic music experimentation. Introduced to analogue and digital tools through his brother’s encouragement, he developed an intuitive, self-directed working method, inspired by kinetic and sensory experiences, urban contexts, shared moments, films, video games, and Tbilisi's hedonistic energy among its chaotic wanderers. “Music can’t be forced; it doesn’t respond to pressure. What matters is trusting your instincts, letting inner sensations rise and ripple through you. In that, you begin to uncover yourself, tracing the contours of your true sonic identity.” For Skyra, music exists as memory, an archive of emotions, where the act of creation often outweighs the importance of the finished result. The studio becomes a meditative space in which certain compositions are crafted solely for the process itself, briefly taking form before dissolving ephemerally. What remains finds its way onto dancefloors, labels, and music platforms. His discography includes various releases on Icontrax, Orion Records, Reclaim Your City, Red Rec, Palms Structure, Structural Realism, Morevi, Horoom Records, and Unforeseen. Skyra’s timeless sound, rooted in techno and house and influenced by diverse musical traditions, is guided by instinct and characterised by elegance, warmth, and emotional depth, moving between ecstatic, melancholic, and darker states.Their RA profile lists Reclaim Your City, Bassiani and Orion Records.Last at Paloma in Mar · often with ayacantstop, DEEJAY, Moe, none of them here that night
“Sven Dohse – both legend and local hero alike.”

Sven Dohse – both legend and local hero alike. Ask anyone located in Hamburg and Northern Germany and having embraced Techno and related electronic club music around the mid-90s about this man and you will get rave reviews of underground clubs, semi- or illegal festivals and legendary sets enlightening and inspiring, spreading the message of a perfectly blended, neverending flow of 4/4 bassdrums. Ask anyone in his new hometown Berlin, the place Sven Dohse re-located himself to in the noughties, attending places like Ritter Butzke, Kater Holzig and the world-famous Bar 25, a place he played the first ever record that came through their P.A system, or event series like Bachstelzen or Klangsucht and you‘ll hear the stories written in the same key but with a different sound which is the new sound of Berlin that is not only his passion but – partly – his creation as Sven Dohse is one of the cities key figures, ever active albeit not ever in the spotlight of media attention. Dedicated to music as well politics and charity, regularly playing charity events for a good purpose, weighing in with his name and popularity for support. Not to mention big scale festivals like Fusion or Nation Of Gondwana – both of them and all of their attendess celebrating his DJ-sets like huge homecoming fests as he‘s been involved in their history from day dot – and international appearances in places like Stockholm, Zurich, Istanbul and all over the place. With such a firm and staunch followship standing strong and worshipping his skills and vibes spread with love and dedications whenever he‘s on the decks it‘s surely time for the next step. And it is true that his Don Shtone track „Barcese“ being signed to the soundtrack of the highly acclaimed Bar 25 documentary „Bar 25 – Tage Ausserhalb Der Zeit“ and his DJ-sets supporting the Bar 25 showcase tour are only the first rays of light announcing a new dawn, the rise of a new era - the era of Prestige Weltweit. A name carefully chosen and perfectly convenient with the cliche of the well-busy, widely travelled and hyper-hedonistic DJ-lifestyle of today that makes „being a DJ“ not only a job option but the dream of every kid beyond the age of 7 these days that outnumbers „being in a band“ by far. Sven Dohse has been a part of the travelling rat pack for years, has wowed thousands and thousands of people with massive DJ-sets and still found the time to hit knobs and machines of his studio regularly, building a foundation for what shall be recognized as the sound of Prestige Weltweit – his own label, a place for his very personal musical visions, his homebase and his castle, being the leading artist with no borders to his overflowing creativity. The first two releases of Prestige Weltweit are scheduled for late 2012 serving a refined and retuned view on todays TechHouse and related club music with a special playful twist, influenced by endless Berlin nights and his playful excursions into freestyle realms. You can tell that this man is on fire, ready to take the world by storm - with quality and understatement. These terms always played an important role in his productions from the early 90s onwards when Sven Dohse started early projects such as Emojonal, Nordreform Sound System or Greenman under which moniker he also released his first long player. From the mid-90s onwards he also explored the musical realms of Downtempo / Future Jazz and Freestyle Breakbeats alongside Malte Möller a.k.a.Waldmeista under the Conzooma-moniker, later focusing on these styles with his solo project Don Shtone which was introduced to the world in the year 2000 with the album „Serious Fool Music“ on Cylence Records, followed by the next long player „Beware Of The Cat“ released via Off in 2007 whilst he was embracing quality TechHouse with quality 12“es under his real name released via Red Eyes Records and Hamburgs Paloma Recordings.Their RA profile lists Superstition Records, BAR25, Katermukke, Greatest Hits International and 1 more.Recently at Kater, ://about blank, MaHalla · often with ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, EXTRAEXTRA, none of them here that night

Xiaolin's elusive, dreamlike sonic world treads the delicate balance between light and dark, tension and release. Inspired by sounds from the mid 80’s-early 00’s, and driven by her love for film, anime, nature and French impressionism, Xiaolin’s atmospheric, analog synth-heavy productions range from gritty acid and hypnotic tech house with earthy percussion to tripped-out electro, shimmering techno and dubby downtempo ambience that invoke feelings of romantic adventure. Despite her ever-evolving nature, Xiaolin’s ethereal-yet-grounded sound remains a signature throughout all productions, combining soft imagination with raw power. Xiaolin is sensitive to the dance floor and curates a dynamic journey unbound by genre, digging deep in order to discover unlikely connections. Her house-to-techno DJ sets, sprinkled with progressive and organic sounds, 303 and breaks, draw energy from the four elements, while her original live set has three formats: “Sun” for sunrise settings, “Moon” for meditative settings and “Body” for nightclub settings. Releases include two EP’s on 宀 Records, a collaborative track on Klasse Wrecks, VA contributions on 20/20 Vision (Exit Planet Earth - “Helium”), Polychrome Audio (“Diffraction EP”) and Harmony Rec (upcoming), as well as three 80’s Cantonese disco tribute EP’s on Sound Metaphors’ “Bless You” imprint (A&R by Jane Fitz). Her live set recordings for QEONE’s SoundSculptors series and Rainbow Disco Club have garnered critical acclaim. Influenced by the amounts of CDs her parents would buy to prepare their dance-classes, she would invent her own performances to an overload of different folkloric sounds from around the world, but also Hip-Hop, R&B and Merengue Hip-Rap of the 90s and 00s. So, it comes with no surprise that you can still hear in her selections, how heavily she is influenced by the way the tune makes her move. In her vinyl collection she has a broad range of styles she likes to play, focusing on 70s and 80s Jazz, contemporary Jazz and Jazz-Fusion, Funk, Organic Grooves and vintage -Salsa and -Caribbean music.
